Every month I will reveal a top 10 list of what songs are currently getting heavy rotation on my iPod for one reason or another. Here is the list for August 2012.
On The Bubble: No Doubt - "Push and Shove"
10. Green Day - "Kill The DJ"
10. Green Day - "Kill The DJ"
9. Deadmau5 (feat. Gerard Way) - "Professional Griefers"
8. A Silent Film - "Reaching The Potential"
7. Passion Pit - "Carried Away"
6. Frightened Rabbit - "State Hospital"
5. Muse - "Madness"
4. The Darkness - "Every Inch Of You"

2. The Joy Formidable - "Wolf's Law"
1. Bloc Party - "Kettling", "We Are Not Good People"
Bloc Party came back this year after a lengthy hiatus and August 2012 saw the release of the band's fourth studio album 'Four'. It's great to have Bloc Party back. And I think they are back in a big way. I love the different directions this album goes and it has barely left my ear buds since its release. All of the grungier harder rock songs on the album like "Kettling", "We Are Not Good People", and "Coliseum" are ear-thumping goodness and my favorites on the album. Check it out...
