The lineup for the 2012 annual LouFest Music Festival being held in Forest Park in Saint Louis August 25-26th, was announced tonight at a lineup release party held at Plush. This year the lineup will feature The Flaming Lips, Girl Talk, Phantogram, Dinosaur Jr., and more! Every year the lineup seems to get better and delivers excellent diversity with some solid acts. While LouFest is a fairly small event in comparison to festivals hosted in other big cities, it is quickly turning into a cool little festival that should make the organizers and local music fans proud. The weekend delivers great music, tasty food from multiple Saint Louis establishments, delicious cold beverages, and a quality setup featured in a prime location, all for a reasonable price. I know I will be there! And here are a few things I am looking forward to...
