'The National' Team Up With Bon Iver's Justin Vernon And Premier Two Unreleased Songs

Brooklyn based indie rockers 'The National' recently stopped by Canada's CBCRadio show the 'Q', with Jian Ghomeshi, as a special guest, where they performed a live show at the Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.  While there, the Matt Berninger baritone led group teamed up with best new artist Grammy nominee Justin Vernon of 'Bon Iver' for a performance of "Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks", a somber classic off the band's 2010 smash success High Violet.  Set to release their upcoming sixth studio album next year, the band also premiered two new songs "Rylan" and "I Need My Girl".  You can check out the video below of the genius collaboration as well as the pair of new tracks which according to Berninger, like the rest of their new material, are "less cerebral and academic and much more immediate and visceral than usual."
